The Intergenerational Work Study Program (IWSP)
The Intergenerational Work Study Program (IWSP) is a collaborative initiative of the NYC Department for the Aging (DFTA) and the NYC Department of Education. DFTA coordinates the IWSP, working with appropriate personnel at City high schools and with community organizations to provide high school youth with work experience delivering needed services to elders in senior centers, nursing homes and home care settings.
